Crown City Symphony (originally the Crown City Chamber Players), was founded in 2002 by Roberta Wilcox and the Pasadena Senior Center, and gave its first performance in 2003, with founding Music Director, Mr. Marvin Neumann, conducting.

The Symphony's concert season consists of two to three performances of each of its three programs.

Crown City Symphony (CCS) is based in Pasadena, and performs there regularly.  CCS has also played in Woodland Hills, Whittier, and Los Angeles.  They have performed with the San Fernando and Hollywood Master Chorales, and the Los Angeles Civic Opera.

Ms. Roberta Wilcox is the Manager for the the Crown City Symphony.  In addition to founding CCS, Ms. Wilcox founded the Pasadena Summer Youth Chamber Orchestra in 1986, and managed the Pasadena Young Musicians Orchestra from 1994 to 2003.  Her newest orchestra is "Second Strings."  Ms. Wilcox taught instrumental music in the elementary schools for the Pasadena Unified School District (PUSD), and continues to teach violin and viola privately.
